Getting started
Windows
- Download the
.exe from GitHub Releases
- Run the installer. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning — click "More info" then "Run anyway."
- Follow the setup wizard: audio device, reformatter backend, hotkey.
- Hold your hotkey, speak, release. Free for 7 days.
macOS (Apple Silicon)
- Download the
.dmg, open it, and drag Invoke into Applications.
- Launch Invoke — it's signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens without warnings. Look for the icon in your menu bar.
- Grant Accessibility and Microphone access when macOS asks — hotkeys and recording need them.
- Follow the setup wizard, then hold
Ctrl+Shift+D, speak, release. Free for 7 days.
