Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Invoke desktop application and the getinvoke.dev website, operated by Myna Bird LLC ("we", "us"). By purchasing, downloading, or using Invoke, you agree to these terms.

License grant

When you purchase Invoke, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on one machine at a time. Your license key activates on a single device. To move to a new machine, deactivate your current installation first.

Product tiers

• Invoke ($49) — All features. Software updates for 1 year from purchase. After 1 year, the app continues to work but won't receive new updates.
• Invoke+ ($79) — All features. Lifetime software updates. Priority support. Early access to new platforms and features.

Both tiers unlock the same functionality. The difference is update duration and support priority.

Free trial

Invoke offers a 7-day free trial with all features enabled. No credit card or license key is required. After 7 days, you'll need to purchase a license to continue using the app.

Refunds

I offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, email zach@scrn.co within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. See the refund policy for details.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Share, redistribute, sublicense, rent, or resell your license key
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software beyond what applicable law permits
• Circumvent or tamper with the trial or license validation mechanism
• Use Invoke to build a competing product
• Use automated tools to generate or test license keys
• Use Invoke to violate any laws or regulations

Termination

We may revoke your license if you violate these terms, specifically: sharing license keys or attempting to circumvent license validation. If your license is revoked for abuse, you are not entitled to a refund. Upon termination, you must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Software.

Disclaimer of warranty

Invoke is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all hardware configurations. Whisper transcription accuracy depends on your microphone, audio environment, and language.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Myna Bird LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of Invoke. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Third-party services

Invoke integrates with third-party services that have their own terms:

• LemonSqueezy — payment processing and license management
• OpenRouter / Anthropic / Ollama / LM Studio — AI reformatter backends (your choice)
• GitHub — software distribution and update checks

I am not responsible for the availability or terms of these third-party services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future versions of the Software. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continued use of updated versions constitutes acceptance. Your current version remains governed by the terms in effect when you obtained it.
